ADIDAS ORIGINALS x STAR WARS COLLECTION.
JANUARY - MARCH 2010.

adidas Originals Pacific are proud to announce their latest project, the globally anticipated co-branded footwear & apparel project with the iconic Star Wars franchise.



A project years in the making, adidas Originals took on the incredible task of celebrating some of the most iconic aspects of one of the world's most beloved sci fi trilogies, a true pop culture icon of our time and one that boasts a following of millions across the world, even 33 years on from its initial release in cinemas. This collection centres around themes in the original trilogy (Episodes 4-6), from A New Hope to The Return of the Jedi.



The expansive project is separated into three different product tiers - CHARACTERS, CRAFTS, and CLASSICS. These three ranges are available throughout the country at different retailers, from commercial chain stores, sneaker & streetwear boutiques, to the adidas Originals Concept Stores in Wellington and Christchurch. Items will change in scarcity and production numbers depending on which tier the product belongs in, with the rarer items at boutique stores, and the more commercial items represented by larger chain stores. Stay tuned for a breakdown.

The collection will be released in three parts, once per month from January to March 2010.

The first release will include items from the Dark Side (Sith) of the Force:

The first release is slated for FRIDAY 15th JANUARY 2010 at various retailers across New Zealand.

Items will be limited throughout all retailers, so please be prepared if you want to collect certain pieces, or even the entire series.

Being closet Star Wars fans ourselves, I hope you're all as excited as we are about this amazing project.
