4.5 Years of Annual Leave all at once.on Thursday the 13th November, i finished my last paper for Semester ii 2008. $3000 down. 6 Months of my life i will never get back. Head full of legislation / systems / diagrams / patterns / processes / interactions and ratios. Whatever way you quantify it, its been a lonnnggggg semester.
List of Papers taken : Advanced Taxation - Financial Statement Analysis Performance Management and Control Systems for Implementing Stately - Philosophy. Like i said, a lonnnggggg semester.
Anyway, thought its time to update the blog, its been a while and I’ve got a lot of time on my hands now. Time you don't have, but rightfully deserve, when you work a grown-up-wear-a-suit-and-tie-kit job. Only 2 weeks of Annual Leave a Year!?!?! Yea thanks Employment Law.
For anyone considering studying Accounting and Taxation, i do advise thinking about it. It is very practical, and is relative, but it does take some work and it mite just save you a bunch of hair pulling and late nights studying by a dim light; sipping coffee while you try to work out how to forecast future cash flows, master the finer points of international tax and trusts or the establishment of a Balanced Score card for an ailing company. Try “designing asset allocation systems (Capital Budgeting)” next time you have find time between enjoying summer and not worrying about next year. Like I said, a lonnnggggg semester
Time to sell the Text books and recuperate the costs for the Semester. Too bad the funds are heading to pay off the Card

. Lets hope i don't fail and end up having to buy the damm book all over again.
On the note of finishing up for the year : Congratulations to my brother Chris (Pick him out. its 50:50 anyway :D) for finishing up 7th Form. Good Luck with your exams and see you at Uni next year. Any of you guys doing law next year, you can battle this dude. He'll probably end up sharing his notes with you anyway. GDC GDC GDC.
