Sorry it's been way too long since my last post, but between 26 gigs this month, flights too and from Sydney each week and work, the little time I have left has been perfectly used on catching some zzzzs and refuelling for an even more epic September. But one way to juice my self into overdrive is the nice stack of freebies I copped this week from Nike and Vans. Working at Sneaker Freaker and DJn on an international level comes with some pretty nice perks, and I'm always more than happy to rep my favourite brands when I cop some nice flow.

Last month I asked Frank to sort me out with the insane Be@rbrick Speaker Bear, but unfortunately at the time I didn't have the cash. As it always is, I hit a jackpot and had the cash to pull the trigger only to find out that all the speakers were sold out via the Qubic store. BALLS! With luck and charm I was able to sort myself out a black shiny bear from a sweet hook up at Medicom...and now the glossy baby is mine! Check out some of my pics after the jump!

Four years ago today my life and that of my families changed forever. My amazing cousin Eran died suddenly from an aneurism on her brain. August 5th is always a difficult day for us all, but I will always remember Eran as the most exotic, well-travelled, incredibly popular, stunningly dressed, creatively intense and most positive person of my life. She tought me so many valuable lessons in my life - growing up so close in age (she was born Jan '73, I was born Dec '73) we went to the same school and shared more than a few similar traits.

I'm not sure if many of you know but I'm incredibly fortunate to be a brand ambassador for G-Shock, so with the duties of promoting and blogging for the brand, I am also lucky to receive a brand spanking watch every time the new seasonal catalogue drops. It's bluddy awesome having friends that do rad shit, such as promote and sell these corkers from Native. I've loved Native's whole approach to the sneaker scene ever since I saw them waltz into Sneaker Freaker around 2 years ago. Back then they came in dope little slip ons - and seemed to be a cooler and way more edgier version of Crocs.
